About this job

Providence is calling a Full Time Day Shift, Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA.

In this position you will:

Responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice and in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist and in accordance with AOTA and state practice acts.

Provide patient care to the following age groups: adult and geriatric adult.

Required qualifications for this position include:

A graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program and shall hold current license and certification from the California Board of Occupational Therapy ( CBOT ) and the National Board for the Certification of Occupational Therapists ( NBCOT ).

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

Current Driver's License with no excessive violations or accidents

Proof of current auto insurance which meets the minimum state requirements

Must have the ability to learn on the job.

Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated tasks.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Prefer home health experience, and/or 2 years acute care experience as an OTA
