Texoma Medical Center, a 351-bed healthcare system has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Position Summary : The Unit Assistant functions as a multi-purpose team member under the direction of the RN in the patient care areas. The Unit Assistant performs the functions of both Unit Clerk and Nurse Aide. The job requires the delivery of basic patient care and clerical responsibilities as needed on a patient care unit.
Two years experience in a hospital environment preferred. Current CPR required. Must have a minimal level of medical terminology, strong communication and time management skills.
