About this job
We are currently looking for full and part-time small parcel delivery drivers in the San Jose area making small package deliveries (no oversize or heavy times). Delivery Driver will safely operate and maintain our company equipment. Drivers will report to our facility in San Jose and be responsible for following a pre-determined route in the local area. Drivers will report directly to the supervisor on site.
The right applicant should have the following qualifications:
Possess a valid CA drivers license and a clean motor vehicle record
Available Weekends
High-school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 21 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Successfully pass the post offer pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening and a (DOT) Department of Transportation medical examination (Mandatory)
Minimum of 6 months previous driving experience
Ability to use computers including PDAs
Knowledge of traffic laws
Safely and efficiently operate a cargo van or similar vehicle
Ability to work shifts between 8 and 10 hours long (Typical shift is 6:30 am to 4:00 pm)
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions, rain, hot or cold temperatures
