* Help resident maintain good personal hygiene.
* Plan and prepare nutritional meals.
* Assist with certain treatments as ordered by the physician and approved and supervised by the nurse.
* Encourage residents to become as independent as possible according to the nursing care plan.
* Give simple emotional and psychological support to the resident and other members of the household
* Report any changes to the resident's mental or physical condition or in the home to immediate supervisor.
We seek the following principal qualifications:
* Current Nursing Assistant Certification for the state of TX is required
* 1 year of recent home health experience and Medicare experience
* Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
* Ability to interact and build relationships with older adults.
* Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, team building and mentoring skills
