Sr Functional Configurator -SAP Financial Systems - Full-time / Part-time

The Home Depot is looking for a motivated individual who wants to be part of one of the largest, most aggressive supply chain transformation teams, a team that is responsible for ensuring The Home Depot is the Supply Chain leader in the Retail Space.

The Senior Functional Configurator performs 3rd party package configuration and integration for mid-sized projects and small enhancements to existing projects. Has a solid understanding of supply chain processes as related to warehouse operations and experience with configuring software application to meet those requirements. The Sr. Functional Configurator has a strong knowledge of how a specific package works and how it needs to interface with other functional areas. Coordinate/collaborate with Architecture and Infrastructure Teams on best practices, design and environment setup. May function as a team lead or technical lead. Updates the Manager or Sr. Manager on day to day activities and status.

The ideal candidate will be performing multiple functions in their role with Financial Systems SAP Functional team.
First and primary they will be part of the support team keeping the systems running efficiently and effectively, answering questions from our business partners and peer IT groups so they can run the business efficiently and effectivly.
Second, they will be working on projects that will encompass functional enhancements for our business partners. This includes discovery, requirements, design, construction/development, testing and delivery or any of these phase(s) in the development process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-

• 2-5 years experience with SAP AP and MM modules with configuration on ECC 6.0. Experience with Ariba would be a preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of other SAP finance modules (AR, FI-CO, SD and Treasury functionality) 
• Must have performed through all project phases for Requirements through Testing and Implementation
• Must have great written and oral communication skills. 
• Must be well organized and detail oriented in their work. 
• Must have a customer support work ethic.
• Experience with the following would be a plus:
• HP ALM, SharePoint, MS products
• BS Computer Science or related field, MS a plus

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses.


EDUCATION REQUIRED -

BS Computer Science  or related field, MS a plus

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
