Now hiring an Appliance Repair Technician for an in-bound technical call center to handle challenging repair calls and provide high level technical repair assistance to field technicians.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide complex technical support to field technicians in the field by phone, email or other methods
- Have the knowledge and experience necessary to be able to diagnose technical inquiries to isolate the nature of the problem and resolve advanced support issues
- Make decisions to continue with repair attempts or return product
- Work with other departments in resolving issues related to repeat repairs
- Handle escalated issues from agents on difficult repair cases in a positive and productive manner
- Document all calls
The Ideal Candidate for this position will possess a technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronics or a related field and have experience working in a technical repair environment (preferably appliance installation or repair). Extensive knowledge troubleshooting mechanical and electrical malfunctions, as well as, enhanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
