Time Warner Cable’s Corporate Marketing Department is aligned around the goals of getting, growing and keeping customers. To achieve these goals, the Corporate Marketing teams, under the Chief Marketing Officer, are organized into eight main areas. Teams against Acquisition, Relationship Marketing, and Retention are dedicated to managing customers through their life cycle and drive marketing strategy. In addition there are five teams that support the implementation of our marketing strategies: Marketing Communications, Insights and Analytics, Pricing, Marketing Operations and Market Planning.
The Relationship Marketing Specialist reports to a Director of Relationship Marketing – the team charged with driving profitable growth from the existing customer base.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and managing key components of our largest marketing channels, executing online and offline campaigns. This role will directly manage creative development, channel process improvements, analytics and reporting, and budgeting. Outside of these core functions, there is opportunity for the Specialist to drive innovation across the Relationship Marketing spectrum.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning
:
Works with Sr. Directors, Directors, and the Grow, Marcomm Execution, Campaign Operations, and Analytics teams to develop and execute marketing plans.
Identifies and prioritizes areas of growth in multiple marketing channels.
Fully documents strategic plans and translates into executable documents for execution teams.
Drives monthly email strategy process with Grow team to ensure channel is fully optimized to drive maximum calls, PSUs, and revenue.Creates executable plan that has proper targeting, offer, sizing detail that can be delivered to agencies and campaign operations teams.Drives and coordinates execution pieces of the email plan including URLs, creative, phone numbers, CTAs, Landing Pages, etc.Key member of small team responsible for delivering majority of existing customer direct marketing responses.

Program Implementation:
Ensures that strategy has been accurately translated into technical execution documentation.Reviews and approves all targeting accuracy with Campaign Operation teams.Intakes and implements tracking change requests from Analytics teams.Develops and reviews ROI of programs with Marketing Effectiveness team on quarterly basis.Researches industry best practices to develop testing plans and targeting enhancements.Continually drives process improvements.
Targeting, Optimizing & Evaluating Performance:
Develops and prioritizes testing plans.Tracks and shares all performance metrics with larger strategy team.Maintains testing pipeline and works with Grow team, Campaign Ops, and vendors to ensure that tests are accurately executed and measured.Creates all campaign reporting and ensures that monthly plans are leveraging best possible offers and targeting.Identifies growth areas and develops test to ensure that new opportunities are profitably pursued.

Reporting:

Works with Analytics and Campaign Ops to validate accuracy of reporting and queries.Executes monthly campaign reporting for Direct Mail, Email, and Bill CommunicationsUpdates Grow team on results with in depth, actionable channel updates.Performs ad hoc data and reporting analysis as needed (typically weekly)Update marketing reports for CMO.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or analytical field.
Hands on experience executing complex marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated experience developing marketing innovations.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of related experience in marketing or advertising.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND TOOLS:

Excel, PPT skills
Experience executing marketing campaigns.
Creative management of online and/or offline marketing programs.
Self-starter
Project Management skills and strong attention to details.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Analytical skills – Nice to have.Experience with pivot tablesEXCEL MACROS OR VBA
Other analytics experience with SQL, Access, Microstrategy.
Experience managing vendor relationships.Experience directly managing complex, multi-month projects.
