LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Wade Associates Inc, a full service landscaping company specializing in all phases of outdoor maintenance and construction is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Manager. We have been beautifying buildings & homes on Long Island for over 50 years. As a team member you will join an organization of highly experienced people who take great pride in the work they do. The primary responsibility of the Landscape Grounds Maintenance Manager is to maintain & grow a consistent flow of profitable new & recurring landscape business to the division, as well as to manage customer relationships within.
The Landscape Grounds Maintenance Manager is responsible for the productivity of crews, generation and oversight of sales activities of the division and for meeting and exceeding the expectations of each individual customer. Must be skilled in managing people, equipment and operations in a residential & commercial landscape maintenance company. Driver's license required, bi-lingual a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
Our ideal candidate has an associates degree (or higher) in landscape or business related fields. You will also need 2-5 years minimum verified experience in the related field. A passion for landscaping and working outdoors.

Knowledge and experience leading a crew /working with related equipment such as mowers/blowers/etc, snow plowing experience a must.

$65,000.00 -$75,000.00-salary to commence with experience

Manage all Landscape Maintenance contracts & customer relations
Supervise maintenance crews & manage employee performance & production.
Ensure that employees are both results oriented & able to operate as a team
Schedule maintenance crews and routing for all maintenance projects
Schedule & make regular visits to meet customers, review quality & production. Manage tools & equipment delivery, storage, operation and maintenance. Manage fertilization program services-including fertilization purchasing and spray operations. Ensure that all jobs are completed according to contract and within budget.
Knowledge of irrigation systems (start up /shut down and maintenance repairs helpful)
Sales experience with focus on growing maintenance division
Conduct site visits with clients and maintenance foremen when required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS;
Driver's license required
Plant and flower knowledge required
Ability to lift 50 plus pounds
Strong work ethic

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS;
Strongly prefer candidates who have Landscape Management experience working directly with field employees and clients within the trip-state area NYS certified Pesticide Applicator License a plus
