Experis has a great Auditor position in the Automotive Manufacturing industry!

The Auditor will perform audit and financial analysis to identify errors between the clients purchasing system and the contracts with the suppliers, and prepare documentation to support the findings and exceptions. The work involves detailed audit and excel spreadsheet review, strong analytical ability, critical thinking and excellent documentation skills. The ideal candidate requires the ability to analyze reports and be accountable for the delivery methodology used in an audit, and requires the ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Major Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed review of the contracts
  • Perform detailed analysis of excel spreadsheets to confirm contract revisions
  • Create documentation of the analysis to review with the Supplier and Purchasing
  • Provide financial analysis to document detailed and time sensitive contract reviews and pricing issues
  • Analyze reports and documents
  • Able to develop and deliver methodology for the audit review including an Excel presentation and a Word document with a summary of the supporting data
  • Interface with various levels in both group and individual settings to review audits and key areas where differences are identified between the Purchasing System and the supplier contracts

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Technical knowledge in MS Office
  • Ability to lead an audit and serve as a coordinator
  • Ability to create and administer special documents
  • Detailed oriented and ability to multi task and manage/handle multiple audits
  • Strong organization skills ability to maintain organized files and spreadsheets
  • Strong level of analytical ability
  • Automotive background preferred, but not required
  • Ability to prioritize work and problem solve using critical thinking
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to be able to interact will all levels of individuals involved in the audit review
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to research and extract information needed for an audit
  • Clear, strong and confident oral communication
  • Strong written communication skills needed to prepare the data and statistics for meetings
  • Team player with the ability to coordinate with various groups involved in an audit (Buyer, Supplier, Plant Personnel, etc.)
  • Meeting facilitation experience a plus
  • Project Management experience preferred, but not required
  • 5 - 10+ years working experience in a previous Buyer/Purchasing, Accounting, Finance or Internal Audit position

Required Education:

  • 4 year college Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Business
