BASIC PURPOSE

Assist the learning and development Department by developing, administrating and effectively delivering all training programs for the various regional departments as required.

 

MAJOR DUTIES 

  • Promotes, administers (including scheduling, evaluations etc.), and delivers quality new hire training for new and transitioning employees
  • Conducts follow-up training, new product/services training, policies/procedures as well as other training programs
  • Posts, maintains, revises, and creates various training documents and reference materials
  • Maintains class records, monitors progress of trainees and keeps hiring manager(s) informed of trainees attendance and progress.
  • Assist in rollout of all new services/products, policies/procedures, or system changes to ensure pertinent information is disseminated to all appropriate department contacts in a timely manner.
  • Evaluates and measures training effectiveness using trainee feedback and evaluation data;  recommends updates to training material or revise training curriculum  as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned (i.e. monthly training reports).

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Position reports directly to the learning and development Supervisor.

 

HUMAN RELATIONS

Position interfaces with internal employees across regions, all levels of management and possibly with external vendors.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May sit or stand for long periods of time.  Communicates on the telephone, in person and through written correspondence and/or email.

 

HOURS

Must be available to work flexible hours (may not be assigned a regular shift) and weekends when required.

 

TRAVEL

May be required to travel to other Bright House Networks offices, vendor locations and/or developmental workshops.

Required Experience


Bright House Networks | SilkRoad Recruiting

  • Four year college degree in Education or equivalent, Adult Learning or other related field preferred or equivalent of two years work experience in training and development.
