Experis is seeking to hire a Facility Engineer who is a "Jack of all Trades" as soon as possible! To be considered for this opportunity you must be a hands on Facility Engineer - no delegaters please -, be experienced with environmental state laws, be mechanically inclined, and have recent hands-on experience maintaining and providing mechanical maintenance for large machinery (i.e. CNC machines, chillers, boilers, dynos)

This Facility Engineer opportunity is a long-term contract position in Valencia, CA. There is a possibility of being hired in the future, but no guarantees. Looking for somebody who has 3-5 years of experience and pay DOE.

Facility Engineer:
The position is responsible for providing general mechanical, electrical and structural engineering services, coordinating and administering facility and building equipment inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance work and tenant improvements and supporting the company's Injury and Illness Prevention Program.

The company is looking to expand it's facility and looking for somebody who has experience with environmental regulations is highly preferred.

Facility Engineer requirements include:
- BS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management Degree
- 3-5 years facility engineering experience and CNC Machine Maintenance
- Previous tenant improvement project management experience
- Knowledge of city, county, state and federal environmental regulations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, EPA regulations, OSHA Standards, Clean Air Act and state environmental protection regulations
- Strong mechanical, electrical engineering and instrumentation technical skills
- Ability to translate mechanical/electrical engineering principles into real-world equipment and construction practices
- Knowledge of thermodynamic, heat transfer, gas and fluid mechanics and process control principles and strategies
- Knowledgeable of A/C engine dynamometer maintenance
- Hands on mechanical skills
- Previous experience negotiating with environmental authorities and regulators
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, detailed-oriented and flexible
- Ability to effectively develop and present project presentation material
- Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings and plans
- Understanding of technical specifications and drawings, shop drawings and field installations
- Strong mechanical, electrical engineering and instrumentation technical skills
- Preparation of concept, scope, design, procurement and construction-related documents.
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, boiler, chiller and cooling tower, combustion air, clarifier, and emission control systems
- Understanding of mechanical and drive systems, motors and pumps
- Strong customer service oriented skills (internal & external)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient PC software skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to multi-task effectively
