This position is responsible for managing areas of the Web (eCommerce, Marketing, Operations, eService) as dictated by upper management. This individual will lead and drive web-only initiatives, web-impacted campaigns/promotions, and enterprise projects that directly impact the Web eCommerce and eService channels. The Web Marketing Manager will drive requirements and/or execution on T-Mobile web properties that directly impact +225 million online visitors/year along with +15 million My.T-Mobile.com registered customers. This individual is responsible for partnering closely with our internal Sr. Managers, along with EIT, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care at the Sr. Manager, and Director levels to ensure key initiatives drive brand consistency, attract and convert quality customers, maximize web revenue, and is accountable to provide a best-in-class web customer experience for both new and existing customers on all projects (small and large). This position will track and analyze historical data, site performance, industry best practices, and key financial metrics in order to influence key business decisions to drive higher customer satisfaction, sales, and reduce costs. Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
  • Manage and prioritize e-commerce, Web Marketing, or eService related projects, both enterprise and web driven that are small, medium and large in scale (up to $25 million in costs). Based on scale and priority, develops, manages and implements on T-Mobile owned e-commerce/eService sites. Analyzes key metrics and business intelligence (internal and 3rd-party) to provide strategic recommendations for web-impacting projects, and appropriately assigns and manages resources.
  • Actively participate in project steering team meetings as a web liaison for small and large projects and/or campaigns: (1) ensure proper documents (BRD, Business Cases, etc.) are created and managed (2) ensure the Web channel is represented (3) Make key decisions on behalf of the Web and (4) Lead the implementation and deployment for our channel. For Web driven CR's or projects, is fully accountable for post deployment measurement of success and ROI commitments from the approved business case.
  • For Web-driven initiatives ($50,000 - $1 million in scale), will build BOV, business cases, use cases, or other required documents for Director and VP level execs. Will work with appropriate groups in FP&A, Finance, EIT, Operations, etc. to assess costs and deliver recommendations to senior management.
  • Assists and in some cases manages all aspects of a 3rd party vendor relationship; defining strategies, makes recommendations to sr. leadership on best-in industry 3rd party vendors that fit within the company strategic direction, creates and leads RFP process with procurement teams, negotiate MSA's with legal, SOW's, deployment process, and post deployment relationship.
  • Based on level of complexity and customer experience impact, will define, prioritize, and drive usability studies, collect and analyze data results to help drive decisions on projects as directed by upper management.
  • Provides daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis (trends, key metrics) and project status to internal team, Director and VP.

  • 5-7 year's internet B2C commerce, operations or eService. Leading business strategies for large e-commerce/eService websites (+$100 million/year)
  • 5-7 years Operations or Marketing in consumer internet (web e-commerce or Self Service) business, working with developers, engineers, UI designers, QA and other cross functional groups to implement web features
  • 5+ years business requirement document creation, business case creation
  • 4+ years Web Design (User Interface) & site architecture including business requirement document development
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (model building, pivot tables, graphing, etc.), Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Knowledge of Web Development, RUP, Waterfall, SCRUM, Agile
  • Intermediate experience in HTML, JavaScript, XML
  • High School Diploma/GED
