The Sr Analyst will assist with a variety of projects, tools and reports specific to the payment of commissions to direct employees. This position will have responsibility owning and developing a variety of reports and tools for the Commission Operation Team. Reports and tools will focus on driving channel metrics, creating operational efficiencies, and delivering World Class customer service to its' internal and external customers, with primary focus on process improvement. Additional areas of focus may include but are not limited to ownership and administration rights of T-Mobile branded websites, Analysis of Sales Compensation and Pricing plans and New Program delivery. The Analyst works daily with the Commission Operations teams providing guidance, insight and innovative problem-solving recommendations and presentations, as well as supporting the Program Managers within their own team.Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, results focus and inspirational leadership.Essential Functions
  • Gather moderately complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Run data queries from reporting tools, ensuring integrity of data and reporting
  • Partner with customers & stakeholders on the development and production of a wide range of reports. Ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
  • Identify and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, & testing of various enhancements & changes to reports or information portals.
  • Complete moderately complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting
  • Reviewing processes and providing potential areas for improvement or efficiency gains


Minimum Required
  • 3-5 years' experience mining data and developing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills
Preferred
  • 4 years' experience in a Business Analysis and/or Reporting Analysis role
  • Ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues and formulate recommendations
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings and recommendations to Employee Commissions Operation management
  • Experience reviewing processes and providing improvement recommendations
  • Ability to apply data analysis to real-world business situations
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Visio)
  • Intermediate experience with MS Access, and SQL including SQL Server 2000/2005 and/or Oracle
  • Wireless industry experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with enterprise software applications (POS, CRM, SAP), Content Management & Publishing and Billing Systems
