We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a 6 month project with a client of ours in Omaha, NE. Our client is an industrial manufacturer who is going through a plant addition/expansion to add another product line to their manufacturing floor.

This Project Manager will be responsible for both project and safety management duties, including:

  • Supervise site projects, employees and sub-contractors in day to day activities.
  • Set and maintain project schedule.
  • Preform pre-project Safety Analysis and develop safety work plans.
  • Coordinate all daily in field project activities.
  • Manage subcontractor supervisors and safety representatives.
  • Manage required safety documentation, daily schedules, and 3 week projections.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and implement corrective action as needed.
  • Coordinate jobsite hazard analysis and required permits.
  • Conduct employee safety training and orientations.
  • Update, view, and maintain prologs and sure track schedules.
  • Review and submit change orders and RFI for review and approval.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of field construction related experience. 5 years in a supervisor position preferred.
  • Construction management, formal training or an engineering degree may substitute some field experience. Must have served as the lead safety person on several projects.
  • OSHA 30 hour Safety Certification, knowledge of HSE, OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations or equivalent experience.
  • Computer skills on software programs related to construction.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings to the intent of the design.
  • Ability to plan and manage construction and safety activities.
  • Ability to plan and lead meetings.
