The Work-Family Connection is a 501c3 non-profit provider of before and after school enrichment programs throughout New Jersey. We are currently looking to fill positions for the 2015-2016 School Year. Preference will be given to candidates that possess some experience in the education/child care fields and/or are in school for related fields. The following positions are open and interviews are currently being scheduled. These positions are available in the Morris County area. (Chatham Township, Florham Park, Long Hill Township, Harding Township, Mount Arlington) Please note that not all positions are available at every location.

Site Director

This is a PART TIME position. The hours are from 7am-9am AND from 2:30pm-6:30pm. The position involves running a before and after school program and being responsible for the day to day operations of the program and all that is required. This includes, but is not limited to: engaging in cooperative and meaningful relationships with school personnel, managing a team of staff, interacting positively with parents and school administration, creating an enriching environment for students, managing the programs supply and snack budget and more. BA degree required plus 1+ year of experience.

Compensation is based on experience and education: typically between $14-20/hour depending on qualifications.

Must be able to get to and from the program daily.
Must be available for both the AM and PM programs.
Must be able to commit to the entire school year.


Teacher

This is a support staff position in our program, responsibilities including assisting the Site Director, engaging/interacting with students on a daily basis, interacting with parents, homework help and more. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma and 18+ years of age. Experience in the child care field or education setting is preferred. Compensation range: $9-$14/hour, dependent on experience and education. The hours for this position are 6:50 am-8:45 am for the before program and 2:30-pm- approximately 6/6:30pm.

Junior Assistant

This is a support staff position in our program, responsibilities including assisting the Site Director, engaging/interacting with students on a daily basis, interacting with parents, and more. Great opportunity for high school students! Must be 16-17 years old. Compensation range: $8.50 - $9/hour. The hours for this position are 6:50 am-8:45 am for the before program and 2:30-pm- approximately 6/6:30pm.

Other requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation to your job location.
-The AM shift hours are from 6:50am-8:45am, the approximate PM shift hours are 2:30pm-6:30pm; applicant must be available during these hours, Monday-Friday. Flexible scheduling may be available.
-Commitment for the 2015-2016 school year.
