Universal Protection Service is looking for Emergency Response Officers (ERO) who can provide security at temporary locations throughout the Southeast. These security teams will be deployed as the result of natural and man made disasters and other emergencies. Extended assignments away from home may be required, generally deployments last 3-10 days, with possible deployment lasting up to 90 days. Travel, room and board are paid by the company and uniforms will be provided.

If you are an experienced Emergency Response Officer (ERO), you will find that Universal Protection Service provides the highest pay for unarmed work of this nature. This work is intermittent in nature but can lead to long term assignments depending on the availability of the applicants. Emergency Response Officers can earn up to $1,200/week for unarmed assignments (provided they work or are on standby duty for 12 hours per day for 7 days a week). Position Requirements

Qualified applicants for the Emergency Response Officers (ERO) position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:
  • HIgh school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Driving is a requirement for this position, you must be 21 or older with no points in last 3 years on your DMV record to be cleared for our driving program.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, required.
  • Ability to work for 12 hours per day/ 7 days a week.
  • Ability to travel away from home, generally deployments last 3-10 days.
  • Prior military, law enforcement or experienced ERO personnel preferred.
