Orthology is a collaborative care clinic with a strong orthopedic and sports medicine focus that is currently seeking Minnesota, New York and Washington, DC licensed Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants and Chiropractors for growth opportunities in our various clinics. 

Candidates should be energetic and have a strong work ethic. New grads are welcome and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Job Purpose: Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Primary Responsibilities:


Contributes to physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physical therapy directives

Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records

Delivers Orthology methodology to patients

Outreach:  develop external provider relationships and represent Orthology at events

Therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Enhances Organizational/physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Standards of Practice and Ethics: Complies with all pertinent rules and regulations within the appropriate State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information


Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school with licensure (or eligibility) in the appropriate state(s)
