Technical Automotive Consultant - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently seeking Technical Automotive Consultants fro opportunities with a third-party consulting firm for GM dealerships. Candidates will be taking calls from dealership auto technicians regarding repair issues. Consultants with be responsible for providing diagnostic and vehicle repair recommendations. Consultants will find solutions to auto repair problems by accessing technical databases, websites, and diagnostic flowcharts, as well as from personal experience performing automotive repairs.

Must haves:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two ASE certifications
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years of recent automotive technician experience in a full-service automotive facility
• Knowledge of strategy-based diagnostics methodology and electronic service manuals
• Functional understanding of Microsoft Office applications and proficient in word processing
