Catering/Event Coordinator

Solicits, secures arrangements, coordinates, and conducts follow-up for small local and group catered events. Executes written sales agreement for smaller events. Liaison between the customer and their representatives and the hotel by directing each department within the hotel as to their specific role in the pre-planning and execution of on-site meetings.

What will I be doing?

 

Solicits, secures arrangements, coordinates, and conducts follow-up for small local and group catered events.

 

• Generate contracts and BEO's in support of Senior Catering and Event Managers.
• Generate food & beverage revenue for groups and meetings.
• Update and own all information on all platforms (Connect +, Cvent, Get Planning, etc)
• Update and Maintain Delphi Menus
• Update and Maintain Banquet Menus
• Champion Lobster Ink Learning and Progress
• Champion MPS Progress (maintain focus with weekly e-mails and progress)
• Administrative Assistance as needed for Event Managers
• Handle Affiliates and small events as needed
• Spearhead get planning with 3 groups by year en
