Deaconess is welcoming applicants for our new Free Standing Emergency Department that will be located in North Spokane and is set to open this fall.

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources. Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Experience:

At least one year of clinical experience as a staff nurse in a similar clinical setting

Licenses/Certificates:

Current RN license to practice in the State of Washington

Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC within the first six months of hire.
