About this job

This is an industrial maintenance mechanic position that performs essential mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs to production and other industrial equipment in a 300k sqft manufacturing facility. This is a critical role in maximizing efficiencies and division productivity by minimizing unplanned downtime in all departments, thus helping to ensure our customer's needs are met on time and quality standards are upheld.

Troubleshoots and repairs industrial equipment utilizing schematics and blueprints, and manufacturer's specification data sheets. Helps maintain a safe work environment by performing maintenance tasks and repairs as required to the facility and equipment. May lead, train and direct the work of others including junior mechanics. Installs, adjusts, and troubleshoots AC/DC motors, HVAC, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, air compressors, and other related production equipment utilizing all provided shop tools including lathes and mills. Maintains accurate Preventative Maintenance Control (TMS) records, including labor and inventory for all work performed throughout division's departments utilizing the TMS computer system. Works mandatory scheduled overtime as directed, minimizing equipment downtime. Welding and other cart and rack repair required. Performs other duties as assigned. Understands the urgency of minimizing equipment downtime at all times.
