This is a 12-month minimum Contract-to-Hire opportunity working with a highly regarded company in the networking and routing space, and a growing leader within the Cloud technology industry.
The top skills and background experiences for this position are:
-VMWare experience (setting up and deploying Virtual Machines
-Troubleshooting (hands on troubleshooting and problem solving experience)
-Customer/Client service experience
-Familiarity with networking (routers/switches)
Additional Requirements:
-hands on experience working with ESXi
-Background working with Firewalls and load balancing
-Experience working with Ixia or Spirent tools
Responsibilities include:
* Play an active role in the design, development, and testing of applications in a cloud environment
* Plan and execute migration of application(s) to virtual cloud environment based on Openstack
* Collaborate with co-located and remote colleagues to solve technical issues.
* Validate large-scale application workflows in a cloud and or datacenter/datacenter architecture
* Develop and execute tests, log and track issues and drive them to resolution with verification of bug fixes, document test results and research findings.
* Develop software/scripts as needed to assist in the systems validation process.
