Job Description
At Shakeys a cashier is more than just an order taker. A Cashier is one of the key service points for the Shakeys guest Experience. A Cashier is responsible for always providing enthusiastic, friendly Shakeys Signature Service to each guest in a fast-paced, high energy environment. The Cashier generates sales, maintains good restaurant housekeeping, accurate cash register, or POS, operations and accurate cash handling. This position requires that you stand and walk for long periods of time, stoop, bend, twist, reach, crouch, push, pull and continuously use fingers and wrists. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities also required. Must be 18 years or older.
