Primary Responsibilities:

Solve complex business problems leveraging advanced analytics and big data capabilities
Direct a cross-functional team of direct reports, global resources, and contractors
Deploy and integrate analytical solutions and technology across the back office
Consult with internal customer teams to identify strategic solutions to their business problems
Manage solutions portfolios and identifying new technology / analytical approaches to solve business problems with a strong focus on leveraging enterprise data
Enable analytics partners to investigate, research, and analyze transactional data
Leverage technical analytical expertise across the enterprise to architect, deploy, and oversee integrated analytics/business technology solutions
Contribute to the building and management of the analytics infrastructure for the Advanced Research & Analytics (ARA) team
Manage internal engagements, meeting project and deliverable timelines, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of deliverables
Establish analytical strategies, team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of engagement teams
Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Collaborate with analytics practitioners, business analysts and methodologists to design and oversee the development of working prototypes of technical solutions
Facilitating the creation of complex statistical statements on healthcare data that measures various aspects of healthcare services, consumer episodes, and operational events

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Healthcare Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics,  Theoretical Physics, Quantitative Social Sciences, Actuarial Science, or related field
3+ years of Strategic Consulting experience in the analytical and/or technical domain
5+ years in enterprise architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence and advanced analytics
5+ years of data processing experience with both structured and unstructured data
5+ years developing / deploying analytical and technical solutions in the operational domain
Proficiency in at least one analytical programming language; SAS, R, Python, or equivalent
Proficiency with analyzing stochastic processes; Markovian processes, Queuing Theory, Jackson and Kelly networks, etc.
Expertise with applied statistics, machine learning, and predictive model development against Operational data sets
Demonstrated experience with several of the following techniques:
-Linear Programming, Integer Programming, Nonlinear Programming, Dynamic Programming, Branch and Bound approaches, etc.
-Multivariate Analysis, Dimensionality Reduction, Logistic Regression, Classification Trees, GLM
-Random Forests, SVM, Neural Nets, Auto-Encoding
Demonstrated time management and project management skills
Ability to navigate and drive results in a matrix environment
Ability to document and communicate complex technical concepts
Competency to convert research requirements to analytical specifications
Able to recognize technical and analytical problems and solution with minimal supervision
Effective in fast-paced team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in in similar field from required qualifications
3+ years of technology, research and problem solving experience
Demonstrated experience working with integrated analytical and big data platforms
Familiarity with visualization capabilities such as D3.JS and Tableau (and Tableau server)
Knowledge of NoSQL platforms (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase, MarkLogic, etc.)
Experience with healthcare data specifically transactional and administrative data
Experience with business solution consulting experience in the medical or pharmacy policy space, fraud-waste-abuse detection, marketing analytics and healthcare economics
