We have an opening for a PAINTER/WORKING FOREMAN to provide day-to-day supervision of paint projects.
Duties
This position must be able to estimate painting jobs, focus on job production, achieve quality results, and control labor costs.
The applicant must have knowledge, skills, and experience to ensure quality work is completed and meets company standards, pickup materials for jobs, estimate labor/materials on future projects, manage a small crew, coordinate with subs, and train new painters.
Qualifications
Must have at least 8-10 YEARS of paint EXPERIENCE in COMMERCIAL, NEW CONSTRUCTION, and REPAINTS and at least 3-5 years of SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE.
Must be familiar with various paint applications, stains, and varnishes.
Must have knowledge in all aspects of spraying and spray machines, rolling and other paint techniques, ability to plan day-to-day tasks for crews.
Must work a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE to include working nights and weekends.
Must have a CLEAN LICENSE and RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
Must pass a BACKGROUND CHECK (Felony/Misdemeanor, Motor Vehicle Report) and a DRUG TEST.
Must be organized and capable of handling multiple priorities.
Must have good communication skills.
Pay is based on verifiable experience.
