Key Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing resident care and medical needs, management of resident nutrition program and staff training
* Monitoring staff's job performance
* Conducting associate performance evaluations and coaching/counseling associates
* Monitoring staff in administration of medication
* Observing residents' health status, taking actions to address concerns, and reporting all significant changes
* Providing direct supervision of resident care staff

We seek the following qualification:
* LVN or LPN license is minimum requirement
* Current Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing Licensure in the state
* Good management and communication skills required
* 1 year of nursing experience in an assisted living community
* Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
* Basic knowledge of computers, computer software, and typing
* Flexibility with schedule - availability for day, evening, holiday and weekend shifts is required
* Availability to work other shifts if needed
* Must enjoy working with the senior population
