The Senior Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring changes with internal laws and regulations to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines. This individual will be responsible to establish, mandate and implement standard policies, procedures and best practices across the company to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct state-specific contract research
Monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance
Support the collection of data for regulatory filings
Monitor external regulatory audits
Create regulatory reporting
Develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business segment across United Health Group

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience working in a government or healthcare environment with experience in compliance component
Strong problem solving skills
Superior oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
2+ years of AZ Medicate experience (AHCCCS-Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System) 
Preferred Requirements:

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to support many different teams, provide constructive feedback, think strategically to help strategize future actions
Comfortable talking in open forums
Ability to interact with senior leaders and advise them when needed as well as influence individuals of varying experiences and backgrounds to consider alternative options to approaching a matter
Ability to support all members of the various teams and ability to set appropriate priorities and seek advice/direction when appropriate to do so
