As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with CareMeridian you’ll be one of those special people designated to care for our patients in our Phoenix facility.

CareMeridian is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform hands-on nursing care to meet the needs of a medically complex patient population.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for clinically complex patients, including ADLs, taking vital signs, transfers, dressing, meal assistance, as needed.
• Monitors the health and medical condition of individuals served, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation in accordance with MENTOR policy, program standards or other regulatory requirements.
• Attends trainings and other meetings as required.
• Maintains confidentiality, respects human rights and practices universal precautions in accordance with MENTOR policy.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.
• Will fill in for Housekeeping position as needed or necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and one year experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, preferably with clinically complex individuals in a hospital, LTACH and/or long-term care setting
• Current Certified Nurse Assistant
• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Will fill in for Housekeeping position as needed or necessary
