We are currently hiring for vaious positions in our licensed daycare facility for the 2015/2016 ski season!

Job Summaries:

The Day Care Lead Teacher/ Ski Coach is responsible for the operation and management of the day care facility in the classroom capacity and assists in daily operations.  The Lead Teacher helps coordinate, plan, organize, direct and supervise the activities involved in managing a CA state licensed day care center, including health and safety regulations.  Responsibilities include regulating and maintaining legal staff/child ratios for each age specific group.  Supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.  Ski coaching may apply for children ages 3-5 years.

The Day Care Teacher/ Ski Coach is responsible for the supervision of children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old.  The teacher helps coordinate, plan, organize, direct and supervise the activities involved in a CA state licensed day care center, including health and safety regulations.  Responsibilities include regulating and maintaining legal staff/child ratios for each age specific group.  Ski coaching may apply for children ages 3-5 years.

The Day Care Aide/ Coach will assist in supervising children in accordance with Heavenly’s CA state licensed child care centers’ policies and philosophy, while providing quality care and developmentally age appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old. Ski coaching will apply for children ages 3-5 years.

The Day Care Receptionist/Cashier is responsible for all reservations-online and via phone, accepting and processing of payments and all front desk activity for the Day Care, including children's registration information, security and access into the Day Care facility.

The Day Care Housekeeper / Prep Cook must be organized, competent and account for food products/storage/food preparation/serving/clean-up of snacks and lunches, as well as, clean the Day Care extensively. The housekeeper will assist in supervising children in accordance with Heavenly’s CA state licensed child care centers’ policies and philosophy, while providing quality care and developmentally age appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old.  Ski coaching may apply for children ages 3-5 years.

Qualifications:

• ECE Credit Hours (varies by position)
• A love of working with children
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Able to carry 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License (Parking Booth Only)
• Previous guest service or cash handling experience- preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment with high profile members (Ski Valet Only)
• Must be able to speak English, fluently
• Must be able to work Holidays & Weekends
