PURPOSE
Handle all Dough and Baking operations on a daily basis consisting of making pizza dough, bread and other baked goods. Be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time. Have a critical understanding of Time and Temperatures that correlate with making and proofing dough.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prior Baking experience needed.
- Have knowledge of Using a Hobart Mixer and Dough Sheeter.
- Have knowledge of Mise En Place/ Organization.
- Have knowledge of Kitchen Measurements and conversions.
- Have knowledge of Proofing and Baking dough products.
- Being able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
- Being able to lift 40 + Pounds on a multiple times daily.
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in a professional kitchen - preferred.
- Broad base of knowledge and skills in quantity food handling, preparation and cooking.
- Basic understanding of restaurant kitchen operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and safe food handling
