Position to be located in Tampa, FL or Phoenix, AZ or Minnetonka, MN 
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of a variety of analyses
Identify potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies
Create and update automated processes
Analyze reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups
Produce and review reports specific to risk adjustments for various markets
Work with very large data sets performing data extraction, manipulation, cleaning, quality checking, and analysis
Interprets findings and prepares materials to clearly communicate results for optimal business decision-making
Provide management with statistical findings and conclusions
Provide data in support of actuarial, financial and utilization analyses
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Serves as a resource to others

Requirements


Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc. 
Basic level of proficiency with Access 
Intermediate level of proficiency in performing data analytics 
Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively 
Preferred Qualifications: 

2+ years of health care experience
