Providence is calling a Full Time Day Shift Registered Nurse First Assistant to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. **Sign On Bonus Eligible**
In this position you will:
Provide surgical first assistant, scrub, and/or circulating nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures
Assist surgical team as needed in any other capacity according to established procedures.
Participate in the daily activities of the department as an active team member.
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Licensed Registered Nurse
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
Registered Nurse First Assisting (RNFA) certificate
CRNFA within two years of completion of RNFA program
Completion of a CCI (Competency and Credentialing Institute) recognized/approved formal RNFA Program
BLS for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
Recent clinical experience in the operating room
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
