The Role of a Claire's 3rd Key Holder is to exemplify Customer Engagement behaviors essential to our success. Successful 3rd Key Holders understand Who We Are, How We Work and How to Best Serve the Customer and team.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities :

Serve the Customer Model the GUEST Customer engagement philosophy to ensure consistent and positive Customer experiences. Know our Customer -- know what's important to her, what she's 'into' now, and how we can best meet her desire to stay trendy and hip. Keep apprised of fashion trends. Represent the Claire's brand through professional behavior, fashion awareness and building Customer relationships. Perform ear piercing procedures that are in compliance with Company and legal guidelines. Drive Sales: Achieve store's sales plan and performance targets (e.g. Conversion, Transactions, Average Dollar Sale (ADS), Units per Transaction (UPTs), Sales per Labor Hour (SPLH), Sales per Square Foot ($/SQ FT). % Penetration (% Accessories, % Jewelry) to maximize business. Raise awareness of Department-level sales performance, key Item sales performance, and Bestsellers to maximize business. Ensure that every aspect of the Company's in-store presentation standards are met. Understand and communicate to the store team all of the dimensions of the target Customer as appropriate. Ensure associates understand and meet the needs of the business. Demonstrate Leadership: Serve as a role model for all store associates. Inspire and infuse enthusiasm while enhancing the selling skills of store associates. Motivate the team to win. Create a positive work environment through effective communication, motivation, and recognition. Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image. Effectively handle critical situations that occur within the store. Organize, delegate, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow-up. Develop People: Continually train and coach staff, providing appropriate feedback in a timely manner. Identify and develop store associates for future growth.

Manage the Business: Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Assists to manage controllable expenses (e.g. payroll, supplies, and utilities). Process and organize store inventory effectively (e.g. shipment processing, markdowns, store recovery, stock replenishment, and back-room organization). Take ownership of all Loss Prevention practices to safeguard all store and Company investments. Qualifications: Some high school required Minimum 1 year retail experience Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills Understands the importance of Customer Service Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills Ability to stand during scheduled shifts Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting Customers Ability to operate POS system This job description is meant as a guide.
