Fairfax Behavioral Health is a 187 bed licensed bed facility providing psychiatric and dual disorders treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as two alternative school programs and CD services.

The Case Manager working within a bio-psychosocial model, provides the following social services functions: leader in treatment planning, psycho-social assessment, basic consultation, information on mental health issues, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical social work services for clients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short term supportive family and individual therapy, group therapy and discharge planning. The Case Manager utilizes evidence based practice in assisting clients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health.

Job Requirements

Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work preferred mental health field required.

Experience:

Preferred three (3) years, post-Master's experience in a psychiatric health care setting.

Direct experience in individual and family group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Strong clinical assessment skills required.

Additional Requirements: Strongly preferred for the employee be licensed in the state of Washington as a Social Worker, or related mental health field. Full licensure must be achieved with two years of employment and group supervision for licensure may also be available. Employee must be available to work weekend rotations. Employee will obtain CPR, first aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certification.
