Job overview
Pastry Chef is responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the pastry kitchen, and includes the preparation and production of all pastry, bread and desert items.
- Responsibilities include ordering, receiving and invoicing.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of pastry, or baking, with supervisory experience, (combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities).
- A culinary or apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Have prior hotel experience.
- Have the ability to manage and motive the culinary staff.
