Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, CD, and the Geriatric population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone currently has a Food Service worker available as needed (PRN.) The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for assisting with preparing the salad bar when needed, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, assisting the cook as required and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required.
The following are the job requirements for the Food Service Worker position: Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation A minimum of one (1) year experience in Food Service work, preferably in a health care facility Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Selected candidate will be expected to comply with facility Service Excellence policy. Candidate must deliver exceptional Customer Service be a TEAM player, and must be Professional at all times.
This is an hourly, non-exempt PRN position. At this time, this position is not eligible to receive benefits.
