MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts security monitoring activities, responding as appropriate and creating response documentation
  • Supports the Legal and Risk Management departments in eDiscovery collections
  • Participates in and/or leads incident response efforts related to security events
  • Conducts forensic activities for business units
  • Researches the threat landscape and conducts active searching for indicators of compromise
  • Conducts regularly scheduled security scanning across the IT infrastructure
  • Participates in the risk assessment process
  • Works with third-party support and security equipment vendors
  • Conducts research on security products in support of procurement and development efforts. Evaluates and recommends products for purchase
  • Participates in and/or leads security related projects as directed by the Supervisor of Information Security
  • Receives and responds to after hour calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding security problems whenever necessary
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst or EnCase Certified Examiner strongly preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year in forensic collection required
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience performing eDiscovery activities preferred
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in security incident analysis and response required
    • Minimum 5 years’ in Information Security required
    • Experience with Clearwell eDiscovery and EnCase strongly preferred
    • Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting security hardware and systems
    • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC
