Job Description
Visitors to the American Girl store will find the complete assortment of the company's popular historical and contemporary dolls, along with doll outfits, accessories, girl-sized clothing, and a variety of best-selling American Girl books. The talents of many individuals are needed in order to make a girl's visit to American Girl a special one. We are currently recruiting for Sales Clerks who will provide prompt, efficient and exceptional sales assistance within our customer oriented environment. They will assess and meet customer merchandise and service needs, provide sales assistance and share product knowledge, answering questions and direct customers to merchandise. The Sales Clerk will promptly and accurately process all point of sale transactions, are responsible for awareness of product availability, help to resolve customer problems, and communicate merchandise and service needs to management on timely basis. They will also be responsible for contributing to the department sales goals, maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm on the floor even in difficult situations or during busy, peak season, and execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies and any other duties assigned.

This is a seasonal position.

Experience, Education & Skills
A minimum of 1 year sales experience in the retail or service industry. Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated knowledge of and willingness to deliver outstanding service at all times. Some experience using a POS System. Must enjoy children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor.
