Sodexo has an exciting opportunity at our Pandini's Promenade Restaurant in Center Valley, PA for a General Manager that will oversee the management of Operations and Systems. http://www.pandinis.com/

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations of the Pandini's street restaurant and will focus on driving top line sales and managing key performance indicators to achieve budget, increase employee engagement and guest satisfaction. Duties include managing onsite team, financial responsibilities, training staff, administrative and systems oversight, and implementation of local store marketing.

Job Duties:

Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by, supporting the orientation, training, and communication of job expectations; team building, coaching and reinforcing policies and procedures. Monitors and achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to; implementing production systems, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; implementing change. Meets restaurant financial objectives by; monitoring expenditures, controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation. Implements local store marketing that is provided from centralized support and trains staff to execute effectively; encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant with the objective to increase traffic and sales Ensures the staff maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; and complying with regulations Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, dinnerware, and monitoring food presentation and service. Supports the implementation of management systems, on-site training and utilization of the systems for ordering, production, scheduling, POS and reporting. Provides feedback to centralized team to ensure systems opportunities/challenges are documented and addressed for corrective action. Strives to exceed customer expectations. Basic Qualifications:

5+ years experience in food or culinary services including restaurant, fast food and/or mall food court is strongly preferred Strong supervisory/managerial experience and experience in leading staff of 10 employees Experience with point of sale systems Restaurant management and/or Pandini's experience preferred Experience managing production, food and labor costs and scheduling Experience with HACCP, and food & physical safety practices Food Safety Certified Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills Self-motivated and strong problem solver Ability to achieve sales and profit objectives Knowledge of financial, budgetary and accounting practices Strong computer skills Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
