Position Description:
This position will actively contribute to the design, development, implementation, and on-going support of the replacement warranty system. The Warranty Processes and Systems Analyst will independently contribute business knowledge from the processor subject matter expert perspective. S/he will perform tasks necessary to determine, configure, and test supplier and internal business rules, as well as create, apply and update detailed configuration rules tables and personalization as required by the business drivers. In addition, the incumbent will ensure that Ryder and supplier process and data requirements are established, implemented, and tested. The Warranty Processes and Systems Analyst will provide expert level support to internal and external users of the warranty system after implementation.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in related business or systems discipline preferred
Two (2) years or more of warranty claims processing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess strong product knowledge
Articulate and responsive to colleagues' needs
Strong time management and priority setting skills
Ability to:
Listen, write, and speak effectively
Inform, explain, and give instructions
Communicate with a broad base of systems users, including users with systems technical skills and non-technical users
Work independently and as a member of a team
Knowledge of:
Computer systems and applications, including MS Office and other reporting systems, with an emphasis on the ability to access and manipulate data from a variety of sources
AS400, SQL, MF, and PC systems and system capabilities
Responsibilities:
Participate in the detail design, development and implementation of replacement warranty processing system
Provide on-going support of the implemented system
Devise, configure, populate and maintain rules tables (SMO- warranty guidelines tables; WCM- user, supplier, SRT, contracts, coverage, parts, shipping tables; Biz Talk- EDI tables; WAM- warranty accounting tables)
Identify and maintain processing rules and guidelines for approximately 120 suppliers
Determine integration and configuration requirements for current and future warranty suppliers
Develop system documentation and standard operating procedures; update documentation as required post-implementation
Participate in development of training materials and training sessions for internal Ryder warranty department and field users
Perform user acceptance and quality assurance testing of new system and future enhancements
Provide go-live expert support and post implementation run support
Perform other duties as assigned
