General Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities :
Review automobiles and vehicle damage to determine cost of repair for condition reports.
Essential Duties:
Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
Interpret manufacturer program guidelines for each make and model.
Evaluate practicality of repair as opposed to payment of market value of the vehicle before return to manufacturer.
Review repairs with estimators and maintenance supervisors to assure turn back standards are met.
Assist the Area Maintenance Manager with overseeing various maintenance functions as well as body damage appraisals and management within the area of operations in the surrounding area.

Good negotiating skills Minimum of two years related experience and/or ASE Certification in Damage Analysis and Estimating Working knowledge of current model year vehicle Experience using the Mitchell UltraMate Automated Collision Damage Estimating System preferred. Knowledge of acceptable automotive repair standards
