General Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates for a Sales and Operations Trainer, in the Northeast Region . The main purpose of the job is to train and develop Sales and Operations Trainees in order to effectively move employees through the established curriculum in a way that supports individual branch objectives and builds a pipeline of talent for both Sales and Operations. The position can be based at any location in the Central Region; there will be an approximate travel of 80%.

Main responsibilities in this role are as follows :

Guide employees through the completion of all components of Sales and Operations Trainee curriculum Travel to branches throughout the region to provide on-the-job training for Sales and Operations Trainees Assist District and Branch Managers with performance management including performance reviews, feedback, and coaching for employees Monitor and track progress of training and ensure HR Business Partner gets needed information for promotions With assistance from HR Business Partner and Branch/District Managers, discuss career path options with employees Be a resource on equipment knowledge for counter staff and provide specification books/files that are updated and maintained on a regular basis Provide additional training on areas that need specific focus or more in depth coverage for certain employees Assist with counter operations at branches when gaps occur Assist with completion of other training such as required safety courses and other courses in Learning Connection Resource for all counter staff regarding counter processes/operations; field questions and resolve problems Use innovative thinking to implement process improvements for counter operations Assign tasks and projects to Sales and Operations trainees as needed as to aid in the development of the employee and provide additional support for branch operations *LI-MN1

Mandatory Requirements:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Specific education in training/teaching/development is a plus.

Professional Experience:

Five years of experience in branch counter operations. Experience in training is a plus.

Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of Sales and Operations Trainee Curriculum Policies/procedures associated with all counter operations Ability to effectively develop and build talent of employees Broad fleet knowledge including use of equipment Proficiency with all technology systems Managing performance of employees including providing feedback, coaching, and addressing issues

Skills:

Employee training and development Logical judgement and decision making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Team player with experience with high performing teams Commitment to company values Computer competence Ability to travel up to 80%
