Play Centers, Inc. is seeking a FUN, FRIENDLY and ENERGETIC School Age Director to work in our Before and After School Warren Elementary School Program. Operating hours are 7-9 AM and 2:45- 6:00 PM. Monday-Friday. 35 plus, full-time hours per week.
Essential Function:
Directs and administers all aspects of the operation of the Before and After School program, to include; management of staff; implementation of policies and procedures, program development and implementation.
School Age Child Care Director Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years, or older
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency
* Must meet the guidelines of the Maryland State Department of Education -Office of Child Care for Child Care Director
* Must have completed 45 hours in Child Development
* Must have completed 45 hours in School Age Curriculum planning
* 400 hrs of experience working under supervision with school agers in a child care center
* 9 hours of approved training in Communication
* Must hold a valid driver's license
* Must have access to reliable transportation for attending meetings, shopping for supplies, and visiting Play Center's Main Office at least once per week
Pay is commensurate with experience, ranging between $11.00 - 14.00 per hour
