As a Regional Merchandiser you will be responsible for the overall showroom appearance to include upholstery, electronics, appliances, computers, and accessories. Job Duties · Acquisition and maintenance of customer database · Ability to create eye-catching product displays · Ensure execution of the Aaron's “YES” program · Coordinating with Regional Manager(s) to ensure proper stock balancing and inventory levels · Training of in-store sales staff for showroom up-keep, accurate pricing, product levels, and ordering · Work closely with corporate Development and Marketing teams on showroom appearance · Manage inventory of pre-leased merchandise, discontinued & distressed merchandise throughout the region. · New store set-ups and grand openings Job Requirements · Position routinely requires lifting, loading and moving merchandise 50-300 pounds · General product knowledge · Professional appearance · Strong computer skills · Previous experience in retail sales or phone sales · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Knowledge of merchandising techniques · Reliable transportation · Extensive travel throughout region At Aaron's, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Paid time off including vacation days, sick days and holidays Bonus & commission opportunities Ongoing training and development Medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) plan Life insurance Disability benefits Employee Purchase Discounts A drug screen and criminal background investigation are required before beginning employment at Aaron's.
