50% of responsibilities will be running various high speed equipment including scanning documents and encoding checks. Duties may also include: capturing, sorting and/or distributing items or documents using machinery to meet requirements; preparing and organizing work for subsequent processing through machines; executing jobs through PC or CRT; monitoring process; performing routine maintenance and repairs. Works under direct supervision, receiving detailed instruction on work. The remaining 50% will be extracting lockbox payments, verifying data on payments and accompanying documents, processing according to customer's detailed instructions, collating, and mailing. This position has strict production metrics that determine acceptable levels of performance and requires that all payments (checks) must be accounted for on the day they are received. There are also strict deadlines requiring flexibility of schedule, as this is an open-ended position with the start and end time being determined by work flow.
Schedule: 30 hours Thurs- Mon (Rotating days off)
12pm-7pm or until when work is completed.
NOTE: Schedule is open-ended and shift ends when all the work is completed.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime required as needed.
Starting pay is $11.50 per hour. This position is benefits eligible.
6+ months experience operating equipment. Ability to work under direct supervision and follow specific guidelines. Able to operate simple machines and perform basic maintenance and repairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, production environment. Ability to work under direct supervision and follow specific guidelines. Able to operate simple machines and perform basic maintenance and repairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, production environment. Strong 10 key skills. Ability to lift 15 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time without getting tired Accuracy with strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Ability to meet high production and quality standards. Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements. Self motivated with ability to work independently and manage your own time. Good listening skills. Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Capacity to work overtime, as required. Previous Lockbox, mailroom, or other production environment background preferred.
