What You'll Be Doing:
*Balazs NanoAnalysis a division seeks a B.S. analytical chemist specializing in trace and ultratarce elemental analysis using ICP-MS.
*The candidates would preferably have prior experience with surface analysis ICP-MS, and wish to pursue a career in analytical chemistry with focus within the semiconductor industry.
*This is a temp position, based in Fremont, California.
*Although the responsibilities of the position vary depending on the candidates' education and experiences, they generally include:
*Perform chemical analysis for trace elements by ICP-MS;
*Participate in development of new analytical methods
*Responsible for the documentation of quality control standards and analytical results
*Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments.
*Meets or exceeds all company safety procedures and standards
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
*Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
*Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in the industry
*Preferred 2+ years of ICP-MS trace element analysis experience
*Must be safety conscious
*Good organization skills
*Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
*Ability to operate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment
*Ability to work under time pressure
*Must have initiative and be self-motivated
*Ability to change plans on short notice and work with a flexible schedule

*B.S. degree in Chemistry or equivalent education
