Role in Company

  • Managing Front of House (FOH) operations within the guidelines set by the General Manager
  • Interacting with guests and employees to ensure customer satisfaction

Core Responsibilities

  •  Resolving customer service issues
  •  Reporting any equipment issues to the GM
  •  Providing motivation and support for employees
  •  Consulting the General Manager regarding addition or termination of employees
  •  Enforcing District Taco’s safe food handling practices
  •  Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling products at different stages
  •  Overseeing Catering orders
  •  Filing disciplinary action forms for any employee issues
  •  Assigning tasks to Front of House staff
  •  Coordinating employee breaks and clocking-out employees as needed
  •  Ensuring that all cash is counted and logged throughout shifts
  •  Checking tickets and completed dishes periodically for quality control
  •  Communicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff
  •  Delegating tasks when opening and closing the restaurant
  •  Updating Shift Notes daily
