Role in Company
- Managing Back of House (BOH) operations within the guidelines set by Kitchen Manager
- Ensuring that our products meet the standards of District Taco
Core Responsibilities
- Reporting any equipment issues to the GM and KM
- Providing motivation and support for employees
- Enforcing District Taco’s safe food handling practices
- Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling food at various stages of production
- Filing disciplinary action forms for any issues caused by an employee
- Sharing solutions and ideas that can help the company
- Assigning tasks to Back of House staff
- Coordinating employee breaks and clocking-out employees as needed
- Issuing deployment sheets for items prepared
- Checking tickets and completed dishes periodically for quality control
- Communicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff
- Delegating tasks when opening and closing the restaurant
- Checking food temperatures and logging the information
- Maintaining organization of storage areas to ensure rotation of goods
- Updating Shift Notes daily
