Role in Company

  • Managing Back of House (BOH) operations within the guidelines set by Kitchen Manager
  • Ensuring that our products meet the standards of District Taco

Core Responsibilities

  •  Reporting any equipment issues to the GM and KM
  •  Providing motivation and support for employees
  •  Enforcing District Taco’s safe food handling practices
  •  Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling food at various stages of production
  •  Filing disciplinary action forms for any issues caused by an employee
  •  Sharing solutions and ideas that can help the company
  •  Assigning tasks to Back of House staff
  •  Coordinating employee breaks and clocking-out employees as needed
  •  Issuing deployment sheets for items prepared
  •  Checking tickets and completed dishes periodically for quality control
  •  Communicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff
  •  Delegating tasks when opening and closing the restaurant
  •  Checking food temperatures and logging the information
  •  Maintaining organization of storage areas to ensure rotation of goods
  •  Updating Shift Notes daily
