Strong oral and interpersonal skills are needed as the Customer Service Representative is an important first-line of contact with our customers. The Customer Service Representative will assist in evaluating our customer's specific needs and provide the right information at the right time, while navigating applications -- multitasking skills are needed.

The Customer Service Representative professionally handles a high volume of complex inbound calls and may also include correspondence to include emails, faxes or written letters and the ability to focus on detail and correspond in writing and verbally in a professional, courteous, friendly, empathetic and professional manner is critical. They ensure questions and issues are resolved both promptly and accurately and in a manner that customers are able to understand. The Customer Service Representative must maintain service center expectations as well as company policies and procedures. Customer Service Representative's work collaboratively with internal and external business units to provide solutions by following through and bringing closure with the goal of first call resolution to all customers.

The CCR professionally handles a high volume of complex inbound calls and may also include correspondence to include emails, faxes or written letters. The position requires the ability to multi-task and toggles numerous computer applications while simultaneously on a phone call with a customer and requires PC proficiency in Windows-based applications and internet skills. They ensure questions and issues are resolved both promptly and accurately and in a manner that participants are able to understand while thoroughly and efficiently gathering information, assessing and fulfilling the caller's needs, and providing education along the way. A CCR must also be able to effectively handle complaints while consistently demonstrating behaviors that contribute to Care's achievement of service level goals. CCR's work collaboratively with internal and external business partners to provide solutions by taking responsibility for following through and bringing outstanding issues to closure on the initial contact with the participant. Demonstrable responsiveness and reliability as attendance is an essential function of the position.

Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service environment, including retail or any customer service role.

Strong oral communication skills

6 months experience with computers and PC proficiency in Windows based applications with the ability to navigate computer screens and programs while interacting with customers.

Preferred Qualifications Call Center Experience

Healthcare related experience Healthcare certifications and/or license

Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

Clinical Licensure Required N/A
