Sodexo is seeking a strong, dynamic Environmental Services/Custodial Manager 2 for healthcare at Tenet Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. This is a union facility and teaching pediatric hospital for a day shift position. There will need to be flexible to work some weekends and other shifts as the business dictates. Manager should possess knowledge of handling large facility and be able to mulit-task. Good communication skills is a must. Manager should also have knowledge of regulatory rules and compliance as in Joint Commission, CMS, etc.
Must have experience in healthcare to include a background in floor care, teletracking, computer skills, and housekeeping management. Excellent oral and written communication skills are key to managing and communicating with the clients & employees. Prior supervisory experience in healthcare setting or equivalent is ideal. We are in search of a self motivated leader with the desire to deliver outstanding results for the organization. The ability to motivate and inspire staff to exceed expectations is a desired characteristic for this manager. Must be able to drive HCAHPS results to a high level and understand ENGAGE patient satisfaction process. Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level. Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction is essential for the success of this role.

Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
